Poseidon, God of the Sea

Today is "Beach Day" at school. It's an end-of-year celebration for everyone and includes a dress-up contest for the teachers. When Billy told me he was planning on participating I thought, "Cool."

When he told me the prize was $100 I said, "How can I help?"

After tossing a couple of ideas around (the sun, a seagull) Billy came up with "POSEIDON, GOD OF THE SEA". The idea comes from the book The Lightning Thief, the first book in a popular series for kids by Rick Riordan (who is from San Antonio, by the way). Anyway, I agreed that it was a great idea and we spent most of Monday putting the costume together. Our budget was $20 and I think we came pretty close. Not a bad investment if we win and if we don't win, hey, we had fun.

So without further ado, I present to you: "POSEIDON, GOD OF THE SEA"
I will post an update later today to let you know if he won.
