very cold, very messy, very yummy! You just put half and half, sugar, and vanilla extract in a small plastic baggie, put the small baggie inside a large baggie filled with ice and kosher salt, and then shake, shake, shake! It melted quickly, but we will definitely make it again. The recipe is here.
Who Are the 500 Babies?
The 500 Babies are the children God has graciously blessed us with through the miracle of adoption. We adopted Joseph and Daniel in August 2008 and Mikea in June 2009. We adopted Adrian in December of 2010 and in June of 2011 we made Rebekah a permanent member of our family. (She was born at 28 weeks gestation, weighing only 2 lbs.) Last July we were thrilled to welcome our sixth child to our family: Baby Katherine. We are currently fostering her and hope to adopt later this year. Join me as I chronicle the ups, downs, and in-betweens of life with a houseful of little blessings!
