I can't believe Rebekah has already been home for over a week! She's been working hard at gaining weight: the day she came home she was 4 lb 11 oz, four days later she weighed 5 lb 4 oz, and two days after that she was up to 5 lb 8 oz. Good job, baby girl!
We've been entertaining a steady stream of "official" visitors over the past several days: case workers, adoption worker, attorney, ECI worker, etc. both to complete Rebekah's placement and get final signatures for Adrian's adoption (tomorrow!!).
But our favorite visitor this week by far has been Jamie, who dropped by to photograph sweet Rebekah. Rebekah did great but didn't cooperate part of the time because she insisted on being awake for the shoot, but Jamie was still able to get many lovely shots of our little sweetheart. Billy said it best when he said Jamie was able to capture Rebekah's beauty and strength. By the way, if you are in the San Antonio area and are looking for a great photographer, we highly recommend Jamie not just because she's our friend, but because she's simply amazing at capturing priceless memories on film. Thanks for the kind words! I had a blast photographing that sweetie even if she didn't want to sleep... we can always try again next week :). I can't wait to photograph A too once he's official and all!!! yay! Congrats on adding another precious little one to your family!
Wow, how amazing does that little girl look!?! I'm so glad to hear she is finally home with you guys. Congratualtions on the finalization of Adrian's adoption as well. Lots of great news for the holiday season :)
